Ryan joined us from Columbia’s Department of Ophthalmology, where he was formerly the Assistant Director of Clinical Operations. At Columbia, he oversaw daily operations for 28 providers at the Harkness Eye Institute, as well as two satellite locations.
Ryan brings his extensive experience in complex clinical operations to our practice with a focus on creating an exceptional patient experience. Originally from Northern California, he enjoys visiting art galleries, hiking, and swimming laps at the pool.
Thais Bencosme, BS
Technician & Clinical Care Coordinator
Thais obtained her BS in Biochemistry from Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York where she was on the Dean’s list, a member of the Biology Club and the America Red Cross. She then joined Dr. Sindwani upon the opening of her office in 2023. Her attention to detail has served her well in the medical field and she finds joy in helping others. A native New Yorker, Thais enjoys travel, attending concerts, reading and spending time with friends.
Corinne Carnline, BS, BSN
Registered Nurse
Corinne holds both a BS in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and a BS in Nursing from Joyce University in Draper, Utah. She was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and has had a diverse professional background in the healthcare field. Originally from the Omaha Nebraska area, she enjoys exploring New York City, trying new restaurants, and is learning both Portuguese and Spanish in her spare time.
Melissa Schuster, MS, RDN, CDN, IFNCP
Melissa Schuster, MS, RDN, CDN, IFNCP is a registered dietitian specializing in integrative nutrition. She takes a whole health individualized approach, focusing not only on nutrition but on systemic and root causes for health concerns such as sleep, stress, lifestyle, and relationships. Melissa has experience providing nutrition counseling for a variety of health issues, including weight management, gastrointestinal and gut health, cardiovascular disease, inflammatory diseases, hyperlipidemia, metabolic syndrome, diabetes and insulin resistance.
Melissa has her Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Pennsylvania. She holds an advanced certification in Integrative and Functional Nutrition (IFNCP) from the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy (IFNA). In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, teaching yoga, reading, cooking and traveling. Melissa is the owner of Schuster Nutrition, PLLC, a private practice based in New York.
