She was selected as one of four residential fellows for the Integrative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona, studying under Dr. Andrew Weil.
Dr. Sindwani then accepted a position at the University of California San Francisco, Executive Health Practice, in one of the first concierge medical practices at an academic institution. As Medical Director of Executive Health she was instrumental in shaping and evolving their practice, growing membership by over 700% during her tenure there. Dr. Sindwani was an early adopter of precision medicine and new technologies. She introduced genetic testing, telehealth visits, remote monitoring, and piloted a lifestyle management program to promote behavior change around sleep, exercise and nutrition.
Subsequently, she was recruited by Mount Sinai Health System in 2017 to launch their first concierge medicine practice at Hudson Yards, serving as Medical Director of Premier Services. After practicing concierge medicine in an academic setting for 15 years, she decided in 2023 that it was time to take her wealth of knowledge and experience and open her own practice in Manhattan.
Dr. Sindwani sees herself as an educator and advisor, sharing the decision making process with each patient. She prefers to take a proactive and preventative approach to medicine, promoting lifestyle and behavior change prior to opting for medications when possible. The membership based concierge medicine model allows her to spend more time with her patients, and tailor her recommendations to optimize their health. She partners with a network of hand selected specialists in both private and academic settings.
Tina Sindwani, MD lives in the Flatiron area of NYC with her husband and dog. Aside from her work and love for patient care, she enjoys Pilates, audiobooks, art exhibitions, live music, people watching, and Van Leeuwen ice cream.
